When many folks first read about the law of attraction, they usually raise their eyebrows, think about it for all of 5 seconds and then dismiss it. They usually ask themselves if it is really possible to direct their life through the power of his or her own thoughts?
When first encountered, many of us disregard the law of attraction as it seems to much like magic. You know, all of that special effects and mumbo jumbo. Yet, when a person actually takes the time to look into it properly, they realize that it is all pretty straight forward. Even logical. But where is the proof that all of this manifestation and law of attraction stuff works?
OK, it is not as simple as just doing nothing except crossing your fingers and asking for all of your bills to be paid. That is not going to happen. If it did, the world would grind to a halt as none of us would be doing anything! Those types of ideas and beliefs make it sound a little too simple, and this is why many people reject it as nonsense. In reality, it does take a bit of a mind shift to get the law of attraction to work.
If you have ever heard anyone say ‘what goes around, comes around’, then they are actually giving you the very basics of the law of attraction. Even if they don’t realize they are doing so.
It all begins with being a good and positive person. In reality, like will always attract like (another well known saying). By being positive, you are actually sending out a good vibe. In return, you will get good stuff back. And you can be more specific about the vibe you send out. By thinking about great health, love and happiness, you will soon get these back into your life in some way shape or form.
But how does this happen? Well, thoughts are vibrations. So by thinking about certain things will determine what type of vibe you will be sending out. Try thinking about negative thoughts all day. This will reflect in your facial expressions and your outward mood and actions to others. This will make people avoid you and you will end up having a terrible day. But if you think happy, positive thoughts, this will once again influence the way you act and look to the rest of the world. People will find you more approachable. And those people can help to make things happen for you.
And it goes further than that. The vibes continue out into the universe and sooner or later, you will get back what you have sent out.
So try and develop a positive thought process. Next, focus on what it is you desire in your life. But is it possible to isolate your desires to make them your primary thoughts? If so, how do you do this.
Well, some people like to use meditation as a way to make their thoughts stronger and more focused. But if that does not appeal to you, just practice putting your desires to the front of your mind constantly. You will find that another thought will replace your desires. All you need to do is keep pushing your desire up to the front of your mind again and again. Keep doing this and just like anything you practice, it will become easier and easier to do.
The main thing to remember is that the focus of your thoughts is what will kick start the power of the law of attraction. Try it with something simple first and keep focused. It may take days, weeks or months but if you keep it in focus, it will happen.
